I'm finding the hyperbolic headlines in Olympic coverage quite amusing.

Specifically, I've been following the coverage of the rivalry between Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte and here's a sampling of headlines/link names:

PHELPS NOT INVINCIBLE: No doubt a crushing blow to those who thought he really was Aquaman

PHELPS' ENEMY #1: You click the link and it's a story about Ryan Lochte. Um guys? They're really not enemies. They're actually good friends.

And this morning...

PHELPS NOT DEAD

Um, okay. That is good, but I'm not so sure it's news.

To be fair, I can't find it anymore but it might actually have said "Phelps not dead yet," which is a little better. And of course they meant metaphorically, but still.

In conclusion, I would like to say...mmmmm, Ryan Lochte. *swoons*
