Jon Stewart on Crossfire.

I know I've been talking a lot about Jon Stewart lately, but that's because he is saying the things I want to say, the things I wish I could say, the things that NEED to be said. He is saying them better--and funnier--than I could.

Last week Jon Stewart was on Crossfire, and...well, I could explain it, but why don't I just let you see it for yourself.

And for those of you who are bandwidth-impaired, here's a transcript. The transcript looks like it's actually of the whole show and not just the Jon Stewart segment, so you have to scroll down a bit to find it. Actually, the stuff that comes before the Jon Stewart section is pretty interesting too. I was particularly interested in the discussion of Winona LaDuke, who was on my campus recently. I saw her speak, and while I won't pretend that she was the best speaker I ever saw or that I agreed with everything she had to say, she made some very good points, or interesting ones at least. And I don't think she deserved what that baby-faced asshole Tucker Carlson said about her, and I'm glad that Jon Stewart laid the smackdown on him moments later.

Getting back to Jon Stewart, he also gave an interview in Newsweek that I thought was quite entertaining and enlightening
