Although, having brought up Inception again...

...I just have to say one thing that's been bothering me for however many months. I've heard so many people say, "Oh, it's sooooooooooooo blatantly obvious that he was dreaming at the end because his kids are the same age..." blah blah blah. And I just have to point out that that logic only works if we assume that his "memories" are presented to us accurately.

Remember the "memory" of his wife's death, where he goes to the hotel room to meet his wife and the hotel room is trashed, presumably by her, and he looks out the window and he sees his wife looking at him from the ledge of the building across the way? How exactly did she get over there?

I don't know if he was dreaming at the end or not; to me, not knowing is part of the fun, but I think that particular scene proves that we can't take anything about the movie at face value.

Just my opinion.
