A little tweak

I've been writing an all-inclusive review/commentary of all eight Harry Potter movies and hope to post it when it's done, but who knows when that will be. In any case, writing about OotP, I realized again that as a movie--not as part of a series but as a film in itself--it really only has one major flaw (in my opinion): it expects us to believe that Harry "Saving-People-Thing" Potter would stand idly by and watch as his girlfriend is being manhandled by Draco Malfoy. So I've taken the liberty of rewriting that scene so that it makes sense:

[We join the action when Umbridge and the Inquisitorial Squad have just breached the defenses of Dumbledore's Army. Draco Malfoy sidles into frame, dragging an abashed-looking Cho with him.]

HARRY [charges toward Malfoy with his wand raised]: Take your hands off her, you tow-headed git! [is grabbed by some of Umbridge's goons]

MALFOY: Why Potter, I wouldn't hurt her! After all...she's the one who told us how to find you!

HARRY: What? [looks at Cho, his eyes pleading with her to tell him that it's not true.]

CHO: [averts her gaze, possibly with tears in her eyes.]

UMBRIDGE: Take them away.

[Cut to Dumbledore's office and the scene with the Minister of Magic]
